Catlett to Deliver Keynote at International Meeting on Improving Cities

Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) writes that Charlie Catlett, a senior computer scientist in the Mathematics and Computer Science Division at ANL and director of the Urban Center for Computation and Data, will give the opening plenary keynote address at the SupercomputingAsia 2020 conference in Singapore. The theme of this year’s conference, which takes place February 24–27, is ​HPC Empowering Intelligent Cities.”

In his presentation, Catlett will discuss how sophisticated models and ensembles of models can capture individual urban processes and systems as well as their interactions, including work funded through the US Department of Energy’s Exascale Computing Project.
